This accredited qualification is ideal for those already working or preparing to work within industry wishing to become an Emergency First Aider in the workplace for the purposes of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations (NI) 1982.
All successful students will be issued with an Emergency First Aid at Work Certificate, along with a wallet-sized plastic card detailing their qualification which is valid for a period of 3 years.
This qualification is ideal for those already working, or preparing to work, within industry who wish tobecome an Emergency First Aider in the workplace for the purposes of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

Subjects covered include Incident Management, Dealing with Shock, Dealing with an Unconscious Casualty, CPR and Minor Injuries.The qualification is assessed via on-going oral questioning and practical demonstration.
Learners are required to be 16 years of age prior to certification. It is advised that learners have a minimum of Level 1 in literacy or numeracy.
